The story
Gulal Afterglow is built around the movement of colour.
Its shot-colour body does not remain a single, static pink. As the silk catches light, it travels through rani pink, magenta and crimson—resembling the lingering glow of gulal after a celebration.
Small Kadhua-woven butis punctuate the body, while larger paisley-inspired motifs lead the eye towards the more elaborate red border and pallu. The Kodiyal construction creates a deliberate transition from the luminous pink-red body to the deeper ceremonial red of the border.
Woven with tested zari, it carries the visual richness of a traditional Banarasi without becoming limited to bridal wear. It can move comfortably between a wedding, reception, festive gathering, evening function or an important family occasion.
