The body carries the saturated warmth of marigold petals—somewhere between turmeric yellow, antique gold and deep mustard as the light changes. Small Kadhua-woven butis are scattered across its open expanse, adding glints of zari without interrupting the clarity of the colour.
Against this brightness arrives an unexpected charcoal-grey Kodiyal border. Woven with tested zari, its floral vines, stylised paisleys and ornamental bands glow more intensely against the dark ground. The richly worked pallu extends this contrast, turning the saree from radiant to dramatic as it moves across the body.
